A design nerd with a computer science twist. I obsess over clean layouts and clever code — treating every project like a mystery waiting to be solved. Based in Kathmandu.
I'm Nisha Baruwal — a graphic designer growing into the UI/UX space, with a Computer Science degree from Sunway International Business School. I began my design journey through self-directed learning during COVID, turning online courses into real-world projects.
I obsess over clean layouts and clever code, and I'm probably the only person you know who analyzes crime documentaries for narrative structure and typography choices. Books are my constant companions, and I treat every design project like a mystery to be solved.
Beyond client work, I teach Graphic Design and UI/UX Design Basics at Sunway International Business School and Presidential Graduate School, helping students bridge creative fundamentals with real-world application.

Your visual instincts are a superpower. Here's how to pair them with systems thinking, interaction states, and user empathy.
Working with brands across Kathmandu taught me a lot about cultural context in visual design — and how to honour it without being literal.
From Baruwal Illustrates to client work — how a personal illustration practice changed the way I approach every design brief.
Whether you need a brand identity, social media design, infographics, or UI work — I'd love to hear about it. Based in Kathmandu, available worldwide.
